Ait, not so much big blunders to show from this match. Mostly to many small errors by Jedi here.
Here is one:

Jedi behind 3 - 6 and jedi on roll, cubeaction?

Jedi: My forward position has great potential. I should cube this. I am behind in the match and everything. I am up 7 in the race as well. I think i underminded my own forward potential here.

Sonrik
XG: If you were not sure about your forward potential, look at his position. Not exactly the nuts!! Its double/take!

Summary match 8:
Sonrik takes the double, victory and statt.

Jedi on roll behind 5-7, cube action?

Jedi: Ait i missed this one! I played the match pritty good, but definetly missed this one! Couldn't follow my instinct! Thats bad. My good scenarioes here will justify the cube on this matchscore.

Sonrik:
XG: Thats right, you did. You should have cubed here Jedi. It's Double/Take!

Summary match 6:

4-4, Jedi on roll, cubeaction?

Jedi; I really want to cube this, i really really want to cube this....but i don't. In the heat of the moment i fail terribly. Ironically it takes me into another mistake in the next poss.

Sonrik:
XG: Why don't you cube this, what exactly are you afraid of? It's double/drop

Jedis next roll, still 4-4, cubeaction?
Jedi: Now I am bit embarrased since i suspected i had a missed double.  I pull the trigger, only to do another mistake:

Sondre:
XG: That's right genious. Two chanses, you missed both. This is too good!

5-5 Jedi on roll, cubeaction?
Jedi: Ait, its 4 away for both players, he has blots on the 9 and 10 point, i can cover the four point or with bad number attack his one point. I fire the cube, and I really did not expect a take here, but Sonrik accepted my double.

Sonrik:
XG: Oh man, somebody reboot me, I am in pain. Look at the matchscore!!!This is a drop plain and simple. Sondre is begging  for KO! Double/pass.

Summary Match 5:
Jedi takes victory and statt, but monywise tie on statt due to 0.5 safety margin. So Jedi pics up one pont in the race.

Jedi back on the scoresheet

Ait, this weeken many matches will be posted, I am just to tired now. I've been training my three year old kid the whole day, and belive me, catching salmon with a light saber is not so easy as it might sound.

Anyway, yesterdays disaster changed today, at least statt wise. We played 3 matches, where i lost on DMP the first one with 3 checkers left on the 1 point. I thought it was to become an omen for the rest of the evening, but it was not. My opononent started out pritty strong, but got trickier decicions today than yestersday. So Jedi lost the first match, statt and victory, but won the remaining, taking the double in both. Can't really complain, My comeback has lasted for  about a month now and my numbers starts to stabilize, and slowly improve. Three times WC today is acceptable. Me and Sonrik has played 16 matches out of 50. Sonrik still keeps a small lead in the challenge, but Jedi keeps returning. Thats what we always do:) All matches will all be posted, good and bad ones.

Look at my son...he does not know he is a Jedi yet. He is to young to know. With great power, comes great responsibillity. He will rise....But let him be cute for now,,,,

Jedi out...

MASTER NORM TORNEY AT GRID GAMMON

Alright. I have now lost 10 matches in a row on the Grid. Every scenario seems to end up in freakscenario. My headsup challenge against Sonrik is at the moment not going my way. Sonrik seems to keep a tight and stable line at the moment, and plays strong. It must be said though i have faced some bad luck, and bad luck often brings difficult decisions. I have dealt with badluck scenarious pritty porrly statt-wise it seems, and have to adjust my psycology here. To let my mind on other stuff i joined one of Grid Gammons new projects. The IIBGF has in cooperation with Grid Gammon  started lots of intresting stuff that might help to rise the staus of backgammon. The Master Norm Torney is a tournament where you can qualify to different titles, grandmaster etc, just like in chess. I would like to advise everyone who is serious about his/her game to register. The IIBGF homepage you can find here: http://iibgf.weebly.com/about-iibgf.html

Since i am struggeling both in my current heads up match against Sonrik and on the Grid in General at the moment, i thought this would be a good oportunity to restore my game. This torney will be played out during 6 months. 12 people play eachother twize in a round robin system to 13 points. Here is my first round in this international master torney. I hoped my bad luck would turn. It did not as i am facing almost - 6 in luck factor,  but at least I got my game running again, after seeing some crushing bad numbers in the latest matches in the heads up challenge which are not posted yet.

Ait, this was a disastermatch for the rebellion movement. What can be learned here is following: Don't let your  brain trick you into to good scenarios: Jedi on roll 0-0:
Jedi: As you can see i perform a Jedi mindtrick on myself. I tell my self that my oppnonent who has to guys in the air for sure will drop this... instantly...therefore I am too good??? This was a huge mistake leading on to another huge mistake in the next postion

Sonrik:
XG: Go to bed, come back fresh. This is a double/Take!!!

Jedi on roll in the same game:
Jedi: As you can see, still the same game. I have tricked myself into beliving it was to good, and since I want to be consistant, i keep on playing the not too good scenario, which of course never was to good. Total distster of course.

Sonrik:
XG: Jedi, you are DISTRACTED. Just cube it for god's sake and get a good nights sleep!

Summary of the match 4: In all fairness Sonrik takes the double, both victory and statt
Jedi: advanced 11.4
Sonrik: Expert 5.5
